Repetition. Repetition. Repetition.

Every player takes a different path to becoming their best. Our philosophy is simple. We focus on the fundamentals to build better, more complete baseball players.

Catching & Throwing

The most basic action on a baseball field is catching and throwing a baseball. Mondo Baseball continues to focus on this core skill to enhance the player’s ability to begin to play the game. Proper chatting and throwing mechanics are introduced to all new players and we provide drills to work on at home.

Hitting for Contact

Proper form and mechanics are vital to the success of any ballplayer. The introduction of these mechanics for contact helps the players continue to build tier confidence while preparing to increase power.

Fielding a Ground Ball

As players progress through the game, fielding a ground ball becomes more and more important. Before we continue to advance, we work our way through the proper mechanics to field grounders. This helps all our players become more comfortable on the diamond.

Catching Fly Balls

Judging a flyball can be difficult for a new player. We teach this skill last because most hitters are not able to find the outfield in the air at early ages. The ability to find, track, and catch a fly ball is thought to complete the fundamental framework of our baseball program.

Hitting for Power

Now that players have a consistent swing and can make contact, it is time to start hitting for more power.
